The good news is that Land Rover isn't the worst car manufacturer in the UK market. Alfa Romeo pipped it to the post. But according to JD Power there are 32 who are better.

On an individual model basis of the 120 vehicles in the UK's JD Power Survey the Disco came 104 just above the Suzy Jimny with the Freelander in at 112. Not a very good show at all. Yet of those other Ford companies, Volvo was 8th, Jaguar 13th and Ford itself equal 14th with Vauxhall. So there is the knowledge and ability within the group to succeed on customer satisfaction, it just needs to be applied to LR urgently.
More interesting/surprising I think is that Mercedes came 21st, just above VW, with a score of 79.5 which is actually below the industry average.
