my S3 has a lovely pair of volvo seats in it which is great and looks wonderful but im so tall i end up having to stoop fwd or sit in a very 'relaxed' position to ensure i can see some of the road. you can imagine the joy of driving in the rain at night!
looks like im going to have to convert back to the bench seats. where might i lay my hands on the drivers seat / the whole bench.

If you look around at the scrappy you should be able to find some alternative car seats that have lower bases (or can you modify the volvo ones?). I'm 6'3 , and i have some saab seats in my 2A. I had to modify the bases with the grinder/welder to make them low enough for me to see out properly first, but theyre great now! :)
I think my landy came with maestro seats in it when i got it, and they were a good height too (I scrapped them cos they were minging!).
Theres a couple of landy places that will sell you fancy high backed seats for a series. not cheap though.
A couple of my mates have also put bucket seats in their landies, and they have nice low bases, one of em has even had to make spacers to raise his up. Just visit your local halfords and measure some up.
If you go back to normal S3 seats you will also need to find the runners/hinges if you dont have them too.
