The reason I am so fond of the Hamster is that a) his enthusiasm is entirely genuine, and b) he manages to entertain without being arrogant or pulling anyone else down, which is a rarity these days. He seems (and there's a few people who've met him posting around the web these days to confirm it) to be a genuinely nice guy, and hooray for that.
TG is one of the very few programmes I actually turn the TV on for. I couldn't give a toss about the Porsches and Ferraris - the banter and the outrageous stunts have me in stitches every time.
I would really miss him if he didn't make it back to his job.
