A/C Speech Commands

I have an RX330 and I can't seem to use the speech commands with the A/C system. My dealer says it was an option that Lexus took out but for some reason when I go to the help screen for the speech commands there is Air Conditioning listed but it is grayed out and not accessible.

Any help??
