I just did this in a 92. The unit is held on with a couple of push-in plastic things that pop into place. You need to pull the whole unit forward (towards the front of the car). In my car I had to kind of pull on one side and then the other, back and forth a few times before the plastics clips let go.

The power feed can be disconnected if you need to by pushing a flat screwdriver into the slot where a piece of plastic is sprung into place, and pulling at the same time. But you shouldn't even have to disconnect the power feed unless you have the same problem I did.

I had a problem because the buld that had burned out had also swollen up like an old flash bulb, so it wouldn't fit through the hole it is set in. So I had to disassemble the entire thing with a phillips screwdriver. Pretty obvious once you get going. Then I could get the bulb out, the back way.

The bulbs are held in to the unit by the plastic connectors into which they are simply inserted. The plastic connectors themselves are pushed in and then twisted to set them in place.

$1.40 each at my auto parts store.
