i have experienced what i felt was premature tire wear on my lexus rx400h. after 17,600 miles the goodyear eagles on the vehicle were worn out with excessive wear on the inside edges of the tires.
the lexus dealer's service manager said that this was due to two factors:
1) the softness of the goodyear eagles, as they are subject to wearing out very fast 2) the geometry of the suspension and the electric hybrid motors cause the tires to wear out at the inside edgesdoes anyone have similar experiences?
if i wanted longer wear, i should go with a harder tire like a michelin, but i would still experience the tires wearing out on the inside edges?
any comments
thanks
