LS430 Navi Issue

2002 LS430 w/ nav. Nav screen no longer changes to dark screen at night. I've tried everything I can find. I have tried resetting screen colors on set-up screen, but I can't get any change when changing from light to dark ambient lighting. Any ideas except Lexus Service??

Problem solved, thanks to Club Lexus posts. Apparently when the instrument panel brightness is set to "Max", the light sensor doesn't put display into night mode. But turning panel adjust knob back past the click into variable brightness range, the display now changes from Day mode to Night mode properly.
