we have recently acquired a 60k mile 1995 ls400. the alignment checks out and the tires are ok (not great). when turning sweeping left the car feels like it is in a drift, requiring abnormal input from the driver. otherwise no problem.??? where to look?? eddie

More info please. Understeer or oversteer? Skidding? All the time or only at high speeds? What "abnormal input" are you having to provide?
Since you said the tires are "not great", I'd suspect that first.

check the rear suspension. a rear wheel could be "steering" the car. possible worn bushing, bent component.
