Beam adjusting

Nissan Almera 2004

Is it possible to adjust front lamps beam by myself? If so, how? Tks for your time.

Pea C gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying:

Park the car close up to and square on to a wall or garage door, on level ground. Mark the centre of each headlight on the wall - a bit of gaffer tape'll do.

Now go back about 20-30', absolutely square on. Adjust the lights - there'll be a couple of thumbwheels for each one - so that the dip beam is roughly horizontally centred to the mark, with the kick-up on the left, and vertically an inch or two lower than the mark.

Tks. The problem is to find the thumbwheels. Is it reachable from the upside of the lamp, or?

Open the bonnet and have a look. The owner's handbook may well give an illustration.
