A while back I was looking into getting some coilovers and converting the front struts on my MkII Escrote based kit car and some kind souls here pointed me in the right direction re sourcing.

Thanks for that although I can't seem to find any of the 'DIY' kits on there (to convert your existing struts etc) and they don't seem to go back as far as the MKII for anything. :-(

ISTR Dave at Retro Ford does these conversion kits to convert existing struts to coilovers and can do the conversions for you too. He'll have an advert in PPC Magazine.
As for springs, there are a few spring suppliers who'll wind whatever you want around Sheffield - google for rally springs and the like, as most modifiers are happy to use off the shelf stuff.
It may be worth posting this to .modifications too - there are a few kit builders there.
