i have a red light that looks like a box with an arrow coming down through the top pointing to the bottom where there is what looks like water or sum fluid( from the wavy line) and it is low to the bottom....it turns on and off. Do you know this icon on the dashboard means or what kind of service is needed?

Sounds like a coolant level warning light.
if it is a diesel then it may be warning you that there is some water in the bottom of the fuel filter
Could be washer bottle level indicator
This sort of thing is covered in the driver's handbook. If missing, available from your dealer. It's a good idea to know what everything means in your car *before* a warning light comes on.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember snipped-for-privacy@gmail.com saying something like:
