Bought a new EFI pump off Ebay ages ago for the old SD1. Said to be a suitable replacement for the original Lucas/Bosch. Near enough the same externally although rubber covered rather than bare ally - and screw terminals instead of spades - but a terminal kit supplied. Can't remember the make - but had heard of it. ;-)
Fitted it today and it won't make the correct pressure. Dead quiet, though. The original has a series resistor fitted. Is it likely this one doesn't need it? It's a bit of a fiddle to get at otherwise I'd simply have tried bypassing it.
