Many thanks in advance

Type. Mercedes have classes, and BMW have series.

Which engine has it got? Diesel, petrol, turbo or not, size, 4 or V6?

Could be low coolant, but I'd be very surprised if that didn't turn on a light on the dash.

Of cause it could be a Jaguar, as per subject line.

Indeed. And a Jaguar will say "S-Type" on the bootlid, as Doki implies.

4yo S-Type, it'll be petrol, 3.0 v6 or 4.0 v8.
