*Hi My 1.8 8 valve golf mk2 Gti has problems with oil pressure buzzer going on intermittently most time it buzzers when the cars revs climb above 2000 and other times at 3 then there are time when its stays quiet even up to 3/5 to 4k revs. I dont know much about cars but could it be electronic because I am experiencing some electronic problems since I replaced my fusebox. My rear window wiper stopped working my horn goes off when I use my turn signal and only one of my high beams work. I disconnected the horn and don't need high beams too much. My concern is the oil pressure I will see if I can find a analog oil pressure gauge to read the pressure at 2k revs to see if its the right pressure. Been like this for a few months now.*

Electronic gauges are much cheaper than the traditional capilliary, I recently bought one of these to help check a switch.

Oil pressure is unlikely to fall as revs increase unless you have a failing mechanical drive or a relief valve sticking open, both unlikely IMHO. I think you are correct to look to the electrics first.
