If I did, say via ebay, I wonder how many would claim the number was wrong and want a refund?
Surely the seller should provide the correct radio code when you buy the car, in the same way as he provides the ignition key?

Probably some, but most people are honest IME.
If paying for it, I would want an easy refund if it did turn out to be wrong. But I wouldn't lie to claim that refund.
I have done this with the codes for my car, possibly not via ebay though
- I think I might not have paid them till I confirmed the number they gave me worked. But it did, so I did.
My stupido mistake - I like the K11 micras - great little engine - was forgetting to ask for the spare ign key. Costs more than the car to get one - and of course the seller didn't have one when I asked afterwards - what a surprise
