Revoing fine grit from paintwork

Oct 16, 2005 1 Replies

Hi,

looking for some advice for removing a build up of very fine grip from all over my cars paintwork. I work in a steelworks and the dust has gradually stuck to the cars surface and it now feels like fine sandpaper.

I want to remove the grip but without totaly destroying the paint work. Any ideas?

Thanks

Andrew

Hose it off. If you have a pressure washer with a low pressure setting, which is used to suck up detergent, then use that first to thoroughly wet the grit. Then use a hose not the pressure washer.
