Not my car, but it has a few problems at an indicated 60K miles...
The throttle sticks open a little after the pedal is released. It seems to be the spindle through the throttle body or the throttle position sensor. The final few degrees to close seem to be catching or jamming slightly on something internal - possibly the butterfly. Is there a known fix for the problem please?
The tappets seem to be quite noisy when you lift the bonnet, but not too bad under normal driving conditions. They never become more or less noisy, as I would normally expect after sometimes starting car from cold. He has tried flushing oil and refilling with the correct oil, just in case what was in might be too thick for the hydraulic tappets. It made little if any difference.
Cheers....
