Hi all, I wonder if you could help ? My neighbours son has just driven home to visit him but on trying to check the oil and water level before the long return journey he has just discovered that the bonnet release mechanism has either broken its cable or the cable has detached itself fro the bonnet lock. Anyone know of a method of lifting the lid, short of using a can opener ?
