Sill protectors?

Citroen Berlingo - occasionally used for transporting wheelchair userwho gets their chair close in with passenger door wide open andtransfers to car seat.Problem - wheelchair bashing and scratching the sill, so I'm lookingfor some sort of protecting strip. It would need to fold over the edgeand below the door line slightly [1cm?]. I've seen a 'cut to fit' rubber strip advertised but it's a US site.Anyone know of any in this country, or can suggest a DIY alternative?Much thanks.Sam.
