Are transit chassis sections available as weld on sections? I have to repair a "perforation" in the osr chassis between the spring hangers on an 88 twin wheel tipper. A quick google doesn't throw anything up and I would like to avoid having to bend up my own channel section.

Thanks but it looks like they only cater for van bits rather than chassis rail stuff, unless I am looking at the wrong bits.

I've ended up using 2mm angle iron, borrowed a mig welder, Cebora micro, it definitely struggled. I've been intending to buy the 185 amp model but not afforded it yet.
The gas bottle with the welder was supplied via an agent for distillers co2 "weldpool". I cannot find the original agent and the locals only seem to do BOC or air products, anyone heard of this supplier?
