useless headlights

I changed the bulbs on my Omega with Halford's all weather blue one's. Vast improvement and only £7.99 each. I don't know the difference between those one's and the £16.99 one's though, the info is the same on both packets.

New bulbs can often make a world of difference, they can get "tired".

Try for some high-power ones if you like - I had them for a while, but they only lasted a short time, must have got too hot.

Headlight bulbs 'age' badly, and more efficient ones are available these days anyway. Before spending a fortune on xenon, try some Philips Vision Plus. They made a *vast* difference to my newer BMW. The are the same wattage - just more efficient.

They do give a big improvement in the light coming out of them but they age more quickly and don't last so long as standard bulbs.

Glad to hear you' ve joined an elite group but on a different note do you think the brakes are efficient enough for a car with this power

Mine are about 2 years old now, and I haven't felt the need to change them.

They're probably still better than standard bulbs would be at new, but not as good as they were when they were "burnt in" from new.

They seem to be cheap from Ford dealers (cheaper than the internet and Halfords etc.).
