Anyone know a cheap source for getting serviced/recon'd calipers for these cars ?
My A80 handbrake is duff because the intregal handbrake mechanisms are crusted up & jammed.
I've heard Eurocar parts do tyhem for £90 each but that means somebody is doing the recon work for them.

I replaced the front caliper on my Audi because the bleed nipple had frozen it was around £60, I got mine from the motorist discount centre, they charged me £25 deposit because it was an exchange but it did give me time to swap it over. If time is on your hands, take the caliper off the car and dunk it in diesel for around 24 hrs or longer should free it up, then buy a service kit cost around £7 for a new inner seal and piston gater.
