Our dearest friends

Bozo was incredible dirty from my vacation trip, in part from extensive driving on "newly oil" roads, so when I got home I left the car cover off in order not to get the yellow oily dirt on it.

This may not have been a very good idea though. Washing the car today, I found that one of our local bird watchers apparently did not quite make the jump from the side onto my $2,000, glass-window, cat-couch. Fortunately our athletic bird watcher managed to gain a bit of additional height by clawing into the side vinyl, preventing injury but leaving three small holes in the couch.

They do not seem to leak much, according to today's car washing. I am thinking of putting on some black silicone from the inside to seal it and maybe preventing the holes from getting bigger. Any other ideas?

You might consider using a repair kit either for a bicycle innertube or a tent. Kinda depends on which comes closer to the thickness and flexibility of the top. Either one can be applied to the inside leaving no noticeable evidence on the outside. Good luck.
