Soon to be proud owner of a 300 SDL 1987. Want to know if I could tow anything with it at all? Talking about 500 lbs worth of cargo plus light trailer. Checked the manual, but couldn't find a word about that.

Call MBUSA and ask them. If you tow - or not - be careful not to overheat this engine. It's a good engine but a real clean - inside and outside radiator is a "must do."
