Hi all!
Can anybody tell me, how the original external 160mm chrome HELLA foglights on a 1969 w114 were connected from factory?
My w114 was missing them, when I got the car. There are 2 holes on each side on the front of the car just above the front bumper. One for the lamp, the other for the positive wire. The negative wires are still there and are included in the factory wireing harness to be connected to the bottom of the bolt of each the light housing.
There is an extra hole in each internal lamp housing for the wire to exit to be routed to the external fog lights...but I don't see how they were originally connected to the standard head lights. There is nothing cut or soldiert off. Was there an adapter to be plugged between harness and internal head lamp?
