interior light/seatbelt light problem

1993 400E...driver's door causing two things to happen:

sealt belt lights (above center console) flash constantly, except when doors all closed with key in ignition.
interior lights do not shut off with key out of ignition & door closed.

The seat belt reminder buzzer and key in ignition buzzer and driver's door (only) interior light were all routed through the "warning device," a relay, in older models; it appears they still are in your '93 model. Suggest you have the "warning device" checked. It cost about $125 in '83 who knows what it costs now.
