Where and how do i check the polin filter ,,,, they say if u put it up to sunlight u need to replace it. Cant u clean the dam thing ( retail $90.00) e240 1999

Not possible to clean it... all the dirt, grime from road is nasty stuff... Change it for your health and prevents your A/C fan from premature failure.
