Crack open the fuel line to determine if fuel is being delivered to the engine.
If little or none, the pick-up strainer inside the fuel tank may be clogged or the pump is dead.

The fuel pump will run only while the engine is running OR being cranked to start.
That's so the fuel is shut off during and after a crash if the key were left ON.
