16 Pin Data Link Connector

Apr 27, 2004 1 Replies

I think I messed something up pretty good...when attempting to ground Pin

1, I inadvertantly put the paper clip in the Pin 16, and all the interior lights when out...I checked the fuse box and replaced the fuse that goes to the radio (which is also not working).

Any thoughts on this or am I just screwed.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

Well pin 1 is 12v power. You just allowed full charge to run through the circuit you made. You probably blew the "habicle" fuse and maybe some relays in the engine bay. Not sure. Most people use a datalink connector to ground the connector.
