Good idea?
I need to have a sensible car on standby as having just the SD1 and Chim is getting silly. I like the look of it - 143bhp, RWD and decent economy. Plus the one I'm looking at has had a few suspension goodies fitted so should handle ok.
Opinions...?

A mate has a 5 series with that engine (I think- it's a 2.5 6-cyl with around that BHP) and a slushbox. It goes respectably well, gives high thirties MPG or better, and for a diesel, sounds lovely. It has, however, recently blown the turbo, but the engine survived.
