Are they slide calipers? Ie BMW, etc types? You don't use grease - simply make sure they are clean and the seals in good condition.

Yes - it even says so on the tube. It's rubber grease - designed to initially lubricate seals etc, not the same thing at all as brake grease which is basically very high melting point stuff.
