It's a Land Rover, think it's sold now. Just used a normal auction and it sold for several hundred more than some of the offers I'd accepted.

It's broken. If he's an indie BMW specialist, he'll be one of the best placed people to fix it. Broken as it is, 2K is taking the piss. No idea what it'll be worth with it actually working properly, but if it's not worth him fixing it, would it be worth anybody else doing it?

I'm guessing he doesn't actually want to sell it, coz he likes it, but can't find the time to mend it, hence it sitting there.

And IIRC, a lot of slushbox specialists don't really like dealing with the ECU-controlled BMW boxes, which is probably why it's sitting in said corner.
