I'm still waiting for someone to walk up to my house and offer me £50 for the Carlton diff I've got sitting under a cover at the bottom of the garden.

Hah....sounds like your a "collector" too...
do you want an R5 turbo engine?? everyone should have one ;)
or perhaps some random XR2/3i bits?
or a recaro interior out of a cav (i think)
Mason - got junk?
I'll decline your kind offer :-)
Probably still got some of them. I know I've still probably got a pair of rear light clusters off a Mk3 Escort Estate (also will fit cabriolet) - also found a 1.3CVH head gasket set a wee while back, and I've got a virtually new 2 litre Carlton Estate back box still in the garage. Also got an instrument panel for a Carlton. Really should have a garage/shed/cupboard clearout - probably a couple of hundred worth all told!
I've got a set of virtually new front discs and pads off a 1.6 Pug 205GTI if anyone's interested :-)

i've been meaning to e-bay the whole lot for ages. never quite get round to doing it.
I possibly would, but not at the mo. Will email you if i ever get round to doing that brake upgrade! Dont suppose you have the calipers too?
Nope, fraid not. But a mate of mine is breaking a 205 GTI (think it's a 1.9 though) which may have good calipers (if he hasn't already flogged them). My discs and pads are literally virtually new - did a few hundred miles at most. Yours for a tenner?

I will let you know, but if i get some calipers then that sounds good. My housemate has some spare 1.9 calipers/discs but i think someone else wants them. However that guy has a 106 XSi which has the calipers that will fit with the 1.6 discs/pads, so i may be able to get those. (all very confusing)
Things I need to sell:

In news: snipped-for-privacy@news.individual.net, Sleeker GT Phwoar decided to enlighten our sheltered souls with a rant as follows
Heh, not the only one..
Mk4 Cortina windows (green tint), early Mk2 RS2000 rear screen (green tint), full set BMW E39 lights, Metro 6R4 oil cooler, some Mk3 Capri bits, quite a few 16/17/18" tyres of random sizes, Renault 30 leather rear seats, the list goes on..
I don't even want to think what I can add to the list posted earlier.
At a guess..... some tyres, misc. oil filters I bought and never bothered to use, Golf MkI exhaust system, batteries (various), Cinquecento Sporting induction pipes and airbox, TRX850 rack / grabrail.... far too much useless tat.
If you find some Toyota Mk III Supra parts in there, give me a shout :)

Is the exhaust standard or "sports" ?
Need a temp. one for my MK1 Scirocco Storm.
Mark S.
Cheapie one from Germand & Swedish.
... so it will be very temporary if you even get it to fit :)
LOL. It's got around 168k on it, but "that's nothing for one of them, mate".
It's also already taken off the car, so ready to be "corrected" :-).

True, mine's got 182k on it. Still seems to work, and not bad for a petrol lump IMHO.
Heh, now that would be underhand! (c:

Tell you what, you've just given me an idea - I could wind it back to something like 30,000 miles, and flog it on ebay as a low mileage instrument panel. You can almost guarantee that it'd fetch more showing 30k on the clock than showing 168k on the clock, going by the average intelligence of the typical ebay muppet.
So - how do you wind back the clock on a Carlton? :-)
