still think they look shite

I think the 156 is rather gorgeous if in the right spec / colour / condition. Always considered them to be rather good looking cars. The 75 is only sexy when fitted with that glorious snarling 3.0 - and even then it looks like a fast fridge. My views on the 33 are well documented.

Black, veloce kit, 16" wheels, with bisuit leather.... oh, that's just like mine!

Mind you, I do like the purity of Katie's - no stick on plastic at all. The ones with steels always looked wrong, though.

like the dude not far from me with the Y plate mondeo on the drive but has a VERY nice old aston martin in the garage, not sure which one but it's old and james may drove one like it on top gear ages back

think your on to something there, if i go to a car show, like the classic one round the corner from me they have 2 times a year. if i see an old car and doesn't matter what it is but if it looks well looked after i do stop and have a proper look at it and appreciate it. i'd probably be the same with an old Alfa 75 if i saw a good one i suppose, it's not my kinda car but a well looked after one deserves a nod in appreciation.

also the MR2 Turbo was used in japanese touring car the JTCC if i'm right with a VERY nice TRD kit and also the last shape supra (MK4?) also used a

3SGTE in racing form cos of the weight saving over the 3 litre jobby.

Absolutely. Evo's high mileage Lambo was at York's designer outlet last weekend. That looked properly used and enjoyed, not mint, but well looked after.

Worth the money..? Not sure. I think if you have to ask how much the owner / keeper has spent, then it won't be worth it... ;)

I know TopSecret used a tuned 3SGTE in their speedrun car for the same reason.
