decided to remove the fuel tank on the storm, as they all seem to rot by the filler neck, day started well when I realised the key to the locking wheel nuts was no where in site, 4 hours later and I'm hellishly sunburnt, but the tank is out and as I thought, well sedimented.
got to find a brand new one now :O
