Hmmmmm it seems M1144 pads and dot5.1 fluid cant cope with the might of the Volvo. It took about 100 miles of 'quick' driving before the front pads were cooked and fading. And the rear brakes had overheated and locked on and were started to melt the surrounding plastic bits. So does anyone know of a Volvo 400 in a scrapyard near them with vented brakes....?
