Ah, the beautiful trebuchet... such massive torque created with such quiet grace. Such an elegant machine with such terrible force. I wish I had a plot of land big enough to build one and designate a launching range to share with friends with liquor on quiet fall evenings such as this.

I would love to wait until a week after Halloween, and get together with some other freaks to hurl a few hundred rotten pumpkins. They stink like DEATH after a while, and make sickening, fleshy crunching sounds when dropped. MARVELLOUS!

Actually, off the set, TTT was really a nice guy. His wife was sweet as pie too!

We've passed the 21st, but it still does seem like summer.

It's just helping natural decomposition a bit. A couple friends of mine in a college apt. got a three-foot-diameter pumpkin for Halloween, and put it on the balcony of a three-story walkup. One night after hitting the bars, we went outside. It had begun to rot and cave in, its structural integrity questionable, and someone asked, "how are we gonna get this thing outta here?" One good shove, problem solved. Splatting crunch. Shovelling its foul remains into trash cans with a 4-alarm hangover was not any fun.

I wonder if a ricer with serious wing-age and 2 kewl ground effects would fly farther than a plain one...
