I have a '69 Mustang that I recently had to replace the driver side floorpan. With the uni-body design, it occured to me that some flex probably occured when the old pan was cut out. If I weld in subframe connectors and the frame is not perfectly square, will I be doing more harm than good?
Any frame ailignment prep required before installing subframe connectors?

no, just adding more metal, make it all stiffer. But do it up on a lift where the the lift hold the wheels only If not you will get flex putinto the mess.
