Lastly, ASE certification means
I dunno.... I brag about my bona fide ACCA refrigerant certs! Took the test 3 days after I got the book. I was the only 'civilian' and 20 percent of the group I was in had to come back.
But I already knew refrigerant gas physics.
Th e problem I have is I've downloaded and gone through some ASE practice text and while it's more involved than the HVAC subject, it looks set up as a 'memorization' drill.
You know... like the old history class tests where they focussed on dates and names rather than issues, events and timelines?
So it explains why someone might be certified as ASE in ignitions and not know jack about the physics of the systems
