Can anyone confirm the problems if any with using '71-'73 Mustang spindles on '65 six cylinder Mustang? I'm aware that you have to use the inner tie rod end and sleeve from the later car, are there any other things that need to be changed? I've been getting conflicting opinions from so-called Mustang experts. Some say the steering link, pitman arm etc. must be changed. Thanks for any help. Oh, the car has power steering if that makes any difference.

I doubt this.
Even with a five lug pattern the 65 steel wheel probably won't fit onto the 73 hub/rotor. Mags work fine. I've done the Granada swap with no other issues than what you mentioned. And the Granada rear end will fit your car too, for five lug wheels all around. You will need the long inner tie rod from a 67 and a short outer from the donor car.
