Recently, after cold starts, my check engine light started illuminating a few minutes after I start driving my car. The light will flash on and off a few times under part throttle, but once the car is fully warmed up the light goes off and will not blink back on. Also, fuel economy has slipped about 2 mpg per gallon. My guess is it's the oxygen sensors. The reason I'm not completely sure is because the current oxygen sensors in the car are only about 25-30,000 miles old. My old 5-liter LX in comparision never wore out a set, I just replaced them for the heck of it at about the 75-80,000 mile mark. Two final notes: I scanned the computer for codes and it came up squeaky clean. And the engine's oil is at the full line.
So am I right? Is it the oxygen sensors?
