Mustang Fever - Santa Clara - Warning

To those who feel the need to take their car there think again. I burned beyond belief as they managed to only do body work and prime and strip parts off my car I trusted to leave with them. It sat outside with primer only on it for years saying they would get to it next. That resulted in rust under the primer of course and lots of $. Not to mention the parts they stripped from my 66 GT fastback and it cost me a fortune to replace them. I considered Chris, the owner, and his brother Mitch, the mechanic, friends. They turned out to anything but.

Dang man that sucks that you had such a bad experience. I've never heard of the place... but sorry to hear about that.

This is why everything gets put in writing, even the estimates.................

Did you say they had it for years?

Years? I must be missing something.

That's what I was thinking....

I hate to say it, but it sounds likes there's some blame on both sides of that deal... probably more to the story that we've gotten. I'd never let my car sit someplace without checking on it frequently and if things weren't progressing at a reasonable pace, I'd pick it up...but that's just me.

I've had a bit of work done there and, unfortunately, you have to keep harrasing them to get your car done. Their priority is how frequently a customer calls. The more annoying you are, the closer your car gets to the top of the list.

Well, thanks for the warning. I live not far from them. You have to wonder how some businesses stay open. You would think they would need a pretty big parking lot to hold cars for a year.
