Ping...Kate

You would roughly be in the same area my BIL lived in for a while.

My family is from TN. Memphis, McKenzie, Paris, Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville...

Also, Georgia, Mississippi.

Yeah, the truck would be supercharged, but still running roughly the same times as Shug. Maybe a tad bit faster.

Hmmm, the house next door to me is for sale. :oP And I think I said this, but if you have occasion to pass through Baton Rouge and need a cup of coffee or even a bed for the night, let me know. I also have a friend that lives in Nashville that can be tapped for info.

That's verrah nize! Like the houses in my neighborhood, but sew 2 story's and the lots are small because I'm real close to the big city.

Somebody down here has turned a 66 into mudbogger. I saw it a while back. The car was a total wreck before so they used the shell basically and put in a souped up V8 and 4 wheel drive with lifted suspension. It no longer reads Mustang but Mudstang. :-) Wish I had my digital camera with me. They definately had watched too much Monster Garage.

I would soooooooooo drive the Cobra II. That thing looks great. the 2nd French page has a Hummer with tracks. they ran a deal on the news last winter about a guy in Utah I think. He had a Chevy P/U (96?) that he had done that with. It cost him about 30k, but he said he can drive it anywhere, anytime.

Yeah, I saw an episode of "Tactical to Practical" recently on the History channel that featured the company that makes those 4x4 track kits. Before that, I think I also saw them in an issue of Popular Mechanics many years ago.

They really are something else, able to handle a much wider variety of terrain than regular tires.
