Re: Slicks - Track Results

I was launching around 3500 rpm. Any higher and the slicks would spin (I was not heating them up much .... I will be installing a line lock soon). The car seemed out of control while approaching the finish line, above 100 mph (I was not hitting the brakes and did not attempt to slow down for the first exit).

Congrats on the win! What rpm were you launching at? Also, at what point did

Nice run Duker!!! Pretty good with the foot too. I am a little surprised you are losing stability with 15lb's. I run mine as low as 9lbs. I seem to get my best ET's & 60ft with 10lbs. It may have to do with weight, did you empty the trunk, remove back seats, run 1/4 tank gas or less.. you know .....all the little dieting tricks. Getting a set of light weight front tires & rims would help too.

I think you will do even better on your next few trips. Once you get that line-lock in and get used to running slicks.

Good Luck
