This group has helped me out with every problem I've posted on so far. So here goes the latest...
Symptom: I'm driving along. I come to a stop light, which happens to be on a slight incline. I take my foot of the brake, and I notice the car doesn't roll. Hmm, I think, it should roll; I'm on an incline. Thinking the parking brake might be engaged slightly, I pull the parking brake and release it. Now the car rolls freely. So I think, problem solved. But...
A few days later, I'm sitting at another stop light, which also happens to be on an incline. Out of curiosity, I take my foot off the brake, and the car doesn't roll. I immediately pull the parking brake, and release it. Car rolls.
Now, I rarely set the parking brake, and I know that I had not set it in between these two incidents. What would cause my brakes to grab, such that pulling & releasing the parking brake would cause it to release?
The thing I'm most concerned about is, if they're holding at the stop light, they're almost certainly dragging going down the road.
Thanks, John
