SCT 5500B performance chip

I recently bought one of these chips used at a good price because I wanted at the very least to change the rev limiter setting (5250 rpm) as I on occasion bump into it at WOT with the gear change. Since there are a number of parameters that can be changed and bearing in mind that the engine is stock, what other considerations does anyone have that I should consider and why. For example, does anyone know what is the optimum shift points are between gears and how close does the factory setting come to those parameters.

This is what they say about the chip:

" The SCT chips are 4 bank chips which means they have 4 banks of memory. This is unlike most single and 2 bank chips. With this added memory the chip can access all the PCM parameters. In doing so the vehicle can run solely on the chip."

Some of the options available: a.. Raise Rev Limiter b.. Raise Speed Limiter c.. Shut off rear O2 sensor (for off-road mid pipes) d.. Shut off EGR e.. Fix Speedo after gear change (99+ cars) f.. 2 step rev limiter (5 speeds 99+ cars) g.. Firm up shifts (automatics) h.. Turn off traction control permanently i.. Naturally aspirated horsepower gains of 15-25hp j.. Forced Induction horsepower gains of 50-75hp
