Sell Your Ford for Free

Dec 09, 2004 8 Replies

AutoTrader.com charges over 40 dollars for a full photo ad to post your vehicle on there website. UsedCarStar.com is free for the month of December. That includes photos. No Credit card needed. Just Free. I would do it before the deal ends.

Gee, I wonder why it's free ??

are there ANY cars in the database ???

Just for giggles, I did a search for a rare car.. A Ford Explorer...

there are ZERO for sale, any year, any price within 300 miles of Las Vegas, NV!

I have a feeling the "deal" won't end for a year or so !!

It is probably a new website trying to gain iventory. So why dont you give things a chance before you knock on them Chief_Wiggum. The deal only lasts through December.

I DID.

I went searching for a Ford Explorer... There were NONE!

How much you wanna bet the "deal" gets extended ?

Or, put another way, How much would you PAY to advertise your car with a service that had very low inventory, or circulation ??

It's a "chicken or the egg" kinda thing.. You would really have little choice but to advertise for free until the word is out, and the database populates. Autotrader, and Cars.com didn't pop up overnight either!

Because it's a piece of crap. It loads slow na dthere is NOTHING there. $40 at AT and my car is sold. Oh, and you're a SPAMMER.

Now, I wouldn't be "selling" my ford if it were for free, would I?

lol wtf? Why are you talking as if you're a different person trying to stick up for somebody else? You are the original poster. Are you always this retarded? Piss off, spammer.

Doesn't help that the guy's e-mail address is at the domain he's advertising. LOL!

Just did a search on his site for all Ford models between 1960 and 2005, any distance from my zip code, at any price.

Result: two hits. A partially restored 1953 F-100 for $0, and a 1995 Mustang Sports-utility (WTF??) that needs new tires for $5. LOL again!

Yeah, but you can list for FREE !!!
