SSP MUSTANG

I recently purchased an ssp mustang. It is an ex highway patrol mustang. Very good shape, not wrecked. lx coupe 5 speed car. All numbers and options are correct. It even has the buck tags in place. I am looking for production numbers for 1990 police mustangs. If anyone has a clue please help me. I may be able to register the car as a collectable in ohio. The production rate has to be 8000 or less to be collectable. There were 15000 [approx] ssp mustangs produced between 1982 and 1993. If any one can help with a link other than sspmustangs.org or the evo site please let me know or e mail me. Cop cars are cool! Greg

The latest figure I know of shows 921 units produced for 1990. There's alot of research still going on concerning SSP cars so the above info may not be etched in stone. Take it for what it's worth...

My source adds to about 793 in 1990. I also have a 90 SSP that I show as an unmarked unit. If I can be any help, shoot me an Email. Welcome to the club!

Both great sites for SSP mustang information. I also have one from AZ (88) (21 made for that year and state) and live in Ohio.
