My 86 Nissan 300zx non-turbo 2 seater has three vacuum lines all T'd together behind the passenger side headlight. Can anyone tell me how they connect to the canister. They are coming from the heater core water valve, manifold vacuum, and the automatic instrument temperature controller in the dash. The valve on the canister opens when the A/C is on. Thanks for any help you can give.

Thanks Steve T. for your time, My canister's check valve isn't working, thanks to you I know whats wrong now. I didn't know there was a one way check valve in it.
The electric valve goes to the heater valve. One of the fittings has a one way check valve, this goes to the intake manifold, the other goes to the hose going inside the car.
Go to the "help" section of the parts stores, they have universal one way vacuum check valves you can install between the can and the intake manifold to fix this.
