rebuilding my 280zx. tips/parts help?

anyone know of any good places other than zcarparts.com to get performance engine parts for my 280zx? cheaper the better lol.. just dont want cheap quality. also i know this is a dumb question to some of you... but would i be better off switching to a carbureator? (know i cant spell) would it give me more power? would it get rid of the bad wiring problems alot of 280zx's have? would it be a bad decision? anyones oppinion is appreciated. if its a good decision, what would be a good carb to go for for the L28 motor?

The stock EFI limits the power you can get from these engines, the upper RPM limit for the stock EFI intake to make any real power is around

5500-6000RPM.

The dual SU setup off an early 240Z is the best reasonably priced way to go and is much easier to deal with than triple webers. The EFI intake is going to really limit how much power you'll be able to get, see pages about this at:
